FAQ

1. Do you offer survival training?

No. Specialized training, such as first aid certification or combat for personal defense, are beyond the scope of this web site. Our objective is to provide general information like how much food to stock, and what kind; whether candles or oil lamps are better for extended power outages; which backpack is best for a three-day hike, etc. We encourage you to learn by doing. Go camping. Stock some emergency rations and eat them for a few days to see how they work out for you.

2. Do you offer individual consultations?

Not at this time. They are fairly expensive and our current objective is to build this site so we can help as many people as we can.

3. I know a good bit about survival training; how can I help?

Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit an article or a video, or even become a regular contributor.

4. Are you an extremist survivalist group?

No, lol! We’re lawyers, heating and cooling contractors, computer programmers, carpenters, real estate agents, homemakers, movie producers, grocery store managers, government employees… We’re just people who want to be alert to possible dangers and be prepared to handle them.

5. Are you a racist or hate group?

No. We are all of “one blood” (Acts 17:26), distant cousins related through the three sons of Noah who repopulated the earth after they came off the ark. You don’t have to hate anyone to stock up on emergency food or carry a multi-tool.

6. Why do you criticize the USA?

Dude, I’m not the one destroying America from the inside. I love this country. I thank God for it, and for the good he’s done in the world through the American people. But what made this country great was liberty, and liberty is dying of a thousand cuts. What I criticize is those who steal our God-given liberties, and those who willingly let them be taken. I support and promote the ideals on which the USA was founded, and I seek to defeat those who have corrupted our great nation.

7. How do I get a cool avatar for my comments?

Go to Gravatar and set one up. It will link automatically to your comments on this site. It’s easy and it’s fun.

8. Why do you write about science, politics, and economics? Just stick to survival prep.

Hard economic times are one of the things we prep for, and hard economic times are the result of assaults on our liberties. By the same token, loss of liberty makes it harder to prepare in the first place. To prepare for hard times you must have a knowledge of science, politics, and economics, as well as principles of law and religion, and these subjects are either no longer taught, or they are taught falsely. By discussing these subjects and encouraging people to study them, I am helping individuals to preserve their liberties and prepare to sustain themselves whatever the circumstances.
